Giubbe Rosse
“Future Avant Garde” is the title of an “AI Art” exhibition designed and created by MathemArt—the “AI Art” branch of Mathema—as a tribute to the glorious “Giubbe Rosse”
The exhibition aims to demonstrate how the “Redcoats” are not just history but also (and above all) a living reality of the present and the future.
The “Giubbe Rosse” (Red Coats) have a history spanning nearly 130 years and have truly shaped the cultural history of Italy and Europe. Futurism and Hermeticism are movements born within the “Giubbe Rosse.”
The “Giubbe Rosse” clubs have hosted names such as Giovanni Papini, Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, Aldo Palazzeschi, Ardengo Soffici, Giuseppe Prezzolini, Eugenio Montale, Salvatore Quasimodo, Mario Luzi, and, more recently, Pier Paolo Pasolini.
It is, therefore, with due respect that Mathema—a Florentine Artificial Intelligence company — is preparing to dedicate a celebratory, avant-garde exhibition to the “Giubbe Rosse,” looking to the future and doing so through the “brush” that MathemArt—the art branch of Mathema—knows how to deftly guide: Generative Art.
We propose, therefore, a brief narrative journey, made up of words and images, to show how the “Redcoats” are projected toward the future and to reveal—a truly daring task— the true essence of the “Giubbe Rosse”.
